“We weren't sure if we were even going to come to St. Croix because of Hurricanes Ivan and Jeannie. We had to trade houses last minute, but Marti, Nancy and everyone else was wonderful. They found us another place to stay -- it was exceptional! They met us at the airport and led us to the house -- did a good job getting us groceries, too! Had a GREAT time!” Sheri H.

“I can't imagine a better place to vacation than Amonoka on St. Croix! The view is spectacular, the pool delightful, and amenities plentiful and the floor plan just right for a relaxed vacation with friends. Yet it is not far from some of the best restaurants, beaches and shopping. I will highly recommend this villa to anyone! ” KCW

Reviews for Blue Iguana, St. Croix

  • Blue Iguana
“We stayed at the Blue Iguana, St. Croix, the last week in June 2010. For persepective, we have rented villas on numerous Caribbean islands, in Mexico, and the US. The description and pictures on this and other web sites are accurate and without any misinformtaion, and as far as I can tell, the pictures are current. The villa is exceptional, and a great value. Very spacious, well appointed, clean and in great shape, and everything worked. It was just myself and my wife, but the configuratin of the 3 bedrooms could accomodate 3 couples or some combination. They are all private. The villa is very private, and the location directly on the ocean is wonderful. The only people you see are occassional surfers and para-sailers. The ocean is pretty rough and we did not try swimming. The beach is rocky, and you can't walk real far, but it is still great to be able to get to the beach in 20 seconds. All utilities worked, and the ac in the bedrooms was very effective. There is no ac, or any real ventilation in the kitchen/living area, and it gets pretty stuffy, but we did not spend a lot of time in there. There is plenty of hot water, but maybe not real great pressure. But, if you can shower while you can see and hear the ocean (outside shower) maybe pressure is not a big deal. Driving on St. Croix, like many islands, is a bit of a challenege. Unlike a lot of islands, St. Croix is pretty good size, relatively, and there are lots of roads, many of which do not appear on the maps available. Just be careful trying to navigate at night, until you get your bearings. Overall, it is a geat villa, and a great island. Dan” Dan Russell

“My husband and I stayed at Paradise pre-wedding and for the honeymoon. It was the most wonderful place. Spacious. Beautiful. The waves crashing on the rocks were heavenly. It had everything we needed for our week's stay. Definitely will think about going back again when we get the chance. Highly recommend it!!! ” Sandy
