“The villa was amazing in every way. It had the most breathtaking view, the pictures don't do it justice. We had plans to do many different activities while in St. Lucia, but found that the villa was so incredible we didn't want to leave. If we are ever to travel to St. Lucia, Modas Cottage will be where we will stay. The caretakers Debra and Andrew were so kind they treated us like family, the trip was amazing” Michele

Reviews for #7 The Harbour, St. Lucia

  • #7 The Harbour
“We rented this villa for Christmas vacation and would highly recommend it. The place is spotless and very nicely furnished and maintained. The first floor is very spacious and includes a lovely outdoor space overlooking the marina. On the second floor there are 2 very spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms situated in a manner that affords maximum privacy. Another beautiful set of stairs takes you up to the 3rd floor master suite...what a suite it is! I can't say enough of the loveliness and serenity of this villa. The owner is a gracious man who was very helpful in paving the way for the rental and the staff there in St. Lucia could not be more accommodating. They did everything they could to help us enjoy our time there.” Marjorie

Reviews for Akasha, St. Lucia

“The sound system throughout Akasha is remarkable. As a musician, I couldn't help but also notice the exceptional acoustics throughout the house. My guitar comes with me everywhere and I won't soon forget the experience of playing my favourite flamenco piece in the living room of Akasha during a picturesque Caribbean sunset.” Erol

Reviews for Date House, St. Lucia

  • Date House
“We booked Date house after looking through what seemed like a life time of villas on the net. There is lots to choose from in st lucia but a lot of the places are either a bit remote down incredibly bad roads or missing something like a pool or a barbecue area. On finding Date villa I called the owner Robert in the Uk, he couldn't have been more helpful emailing information about the island where to eat and shop etc. Robert quoted us a price which was very reasonable compared to other similar villas and then put us in contact with the letting agent which looks after the property for him. The letting agent was great and easy to deal with sending on information on the villa, directions etc. On arriving in st lucia we picked up our hire car at the airport in the south of the island and drove to the villa which was easy enough to find. We were very pleasantly surprised with the villa on our arrival as I mentioned it seemed great value but was if anything better than most of the other properties we had looked at. It is central enough to everything but far enough away to be very private. I could go on and on about the villa, the amazing views, the great staff Annemarie and Thomas, the pool, the well equipped kitchen etc but to be blunt if your looking for somewhere amazing to stay this is it. Just call Robert and book it and relax in the knowledge you've got a great holiday ahead of you. We had a great two weeks, my wife and I are very well travelled and at this point have been to most places on offer but Date house and st lucia will hold a very special place in our hearts for years to come and I'd be more than surprised if we are not back there soon.” Everett Johnston

Reviews for Tamarind House, St. Lucia

  • Tamarind House
“We spent 7 nights at the end of August 2010 in Tamarind House. We are a family from NYC with 2 girls about 10 years old and have done pretty regular Caribbean villa travel over the last decade. Tamarind House is well equipped with spectacular terraces and views of the Pitons. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in keeping with this level of luxury but not spectacular. The staff was very accommodating and the cook was remarkably good. Despite some comments, I would not consider the beach or the town walkable on a regular basis. They are far and the walk is demanding to do as a regular means of transportation. I suggest a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The pool and tennis court were quite nice and also had good views. I found myself wishing the beach at Chastenet was more accessible. Although the beach is technically public, the hotel makes using it uncomfortable. I wish the villa came with beach chairs because dropping a towel between the hotel beach huts is not ideal. Overall, the villa was very nice and my suggestions to the owner would be to improve the ceiling fans to be sure there was a breeze and to make an arrangement with the hotel for use of the beach.” Daniel
