The generously proportioned covered outdoor terrace is probably the focal point of life at Calliaqua. At one end is a luxurious arrangement of wicker sofas and chairs and, at the other, a feature coral stone dining table under a crystal chandelier. After dark, Calliaqua's imaginative lighting makes for a magical and romantic atmosphere.Steps from the terrace lead down to a beautifully designed 1000 sq. foot mosaic tiled pool, complete with mini waterfalls. Sun loungers and umbrellas are scattered around the spacious pool deck and a pool gazebo offers a bar (with fridge), informal dining arrangements and the perfect venue for sipping a cooling rum punch whilst watching those glorious Bajan sunsets unfolding at the end of a tough day! The pool deck also benefits from a discreet speaker configuration, which is linked to a central state of the art CD system that also serves the terrace and living areas.

French doors from the terrace flow back into the main internal living space which is large, light and airy and exquisitively furnished with high ceilings, marble tiles and coral stone walls enhancing Calliaqua's feeling of tranquility and colonial style. Calliaqua has 4 en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms, attractively furnished but each with a distinctive individual style and featuring a separate dressing room within the master bedroom suite. French doors open directly onto the balcony from the 3 upstairs bedrooms where comfortable ottomans are perfect for relaxation and enjoyment of the stunning sea views.

Downstairs, the charming bedroom 4 (the "parrot" room!) doubles as a study, with sofa bed, TV and DVD (US and UK compatible) and a separate telephone line for PC/Internet access for those with laptops.

A delightful guest cottage with double bed, en-suite bathroom, a small kitchen area and its own small patio area overlooking the pool enhances the scope and flexibility of accommodation at Calliaqua. Calliaqua comes with a spacious kitchen, fully equipped with high quality appliances.

Please tell us your pick by mentioning one of the following codes at the time of booking: BDS-DRIVE for the free rental car, BDS-SAIL for the catamaran cruise, or BDS-EAT for the grocery pre-stock package.

The Barbados Perks Program is subject to availability & change, and may not be combinable with other promotional offers. Valid only on new reservations made after March 7, 2013 until further notice. Valid for travel through December 14, 2013. A 5 night minimum booking is required. Additional terms and conditions are specific to individual perk chosen, please read conditions carefully. BDS-DRIVE: If you choose the Free Car Rental Perk, you will receive a complimentary car rental with new villa reservations for any of our Barbados villas. We will cover the base rental car cost for a 4 passenger economy car and delivery of the car to your villa upon arrival. Please mention BDS-DRIVE at time of booking. Blackout dates apply: 03/30/13-04/06/13 and 07/19/13-08/05/13. Car rental will be delivered to the villa on day of arrival if before 5pm or the next day for late arrivals. Clients are responsible for 17.5% tax, gas, mandatory liability insurance and Barbados driver’s license. Should economy car type be unavailable, we will cover the base cost of a car rental up to $300/week. No cash value will be provided if rental car is available. Upgrades and additional vehicles are available at an additional cost. The rate for the base car rental on the first vehicle will be deducted from the cost of the upgraded vehicle. Additional rental car terms and conditions may apply. BDS-SAIL: If you choose the Catamaran Day Cruise Perk, you will receive a complimentary catamaran cruise with new reservations for any of our Barbados villas. We will cover the cost for up to 4 people on a sailing of your choosing, OR you may choose to apply a $300 credit toward a private catamaran cruise charter. Cost for additional passengers is not included. The sailing must be booked through our concierge department prior to departure. No cash value will be provided in exchange for a catamaran cruise. Additional restrictions may apply. BDS-EAT: If you choose the Grocery Pre-Stock Package Perk, you will receive a grocery starter pack valued at $300 with new reservations for any of our Barbados villas. Groceries will be delivered to your villa prior to your arrival, so you don’t have to shop before you arrive. Grocery packages include a variety of preset items that can be customized to your liking, and will be arranged for by a member of our Guest Arrival Concierge team. No cash value will be provided in exchange for the grocery pre-stock package. $300 is inclusive of 5% delivery and service fee and 7.5% VAT. Additional restrictions may apply.
