A five minute drive north of the property brings you to the heart of Speightown, once referred to as ‘Little Bristol’. This historic little town offers miscellaneous shopping with the most delightful quaint and casual sea view restaurants tempting visitors with their local Caribbean flavoured cuisine. Arlington House can be found nestled in the heart of the town. This is a ‘must see’ interactive museum with audio visual features of ‘old Barbados’.
Lush manicured gardens welcome you to Westhaven through a gateway opening onto the pool deck and instantly offering a breathtaking sea view. The adequate sized pool is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and the trickling water feature compliments the soothing sounds of the lapping waves. White beach loungers can be taken down to the seashore through the private direct access to Gibbs Beach. Serene, turquoise, crystal waters provide the perfect atmosphere for swimming, snorkeling and various water sport activities. Gibbs Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks.
For relaxation and entertainment there is an indoor living room on the ground floor, outfitted with flat screen television complete with satellite and cable. The living area opens onto the spacious patio where you can enjoy the day’s memories sipping cocktails while being amazed by the glorious colours of the sunset. The patio also offers formal dining with superb sea views or you may opt to choose alfresco dining on the pool deck.
The kitchen features a large window that opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Delicious fresh meals are prepared by the villa’s chef throughout your visit.
All bedrooms at Westhaven have outdoor patios, air-conditioning, and en suite bathrooms. The villa can accommodate valuables in its three safes. One bedroom suite, no 4, is located on the ground floor while the other three bedroom suites are on the first floor. The master and bedroom no 2 suite share a balcony overlooking the outstanding uninterrupted view of Gibbs Bay. The smaller balconies of bedroom no 3 and no 4 offer delightful garden views. The master bedroom is equipped with cable television viewing.
