Bayahibe Beach
This beach provides seclusion, and is somewhat underdeveloped, but at the same time one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic. A few small islands are easy accessible where you will find wildlife preserves. White powdery sand, golf and water sports are all available on the beach or nearby.
La Minitas
The most popular beach on in the surrounding area, La Minitas offers a little something for every one to do -- even enjoy a message on the beach.
Keep in mind, this beach does get very busy and crowded.
Samaná Peninsula
The white sands and crystal blue water make this a beach not to miss.
Boats are available in the months of December - March to go whale watching.
Use caution when entering the water, this beach has a strong undertow.
