• Located in the southern Caribbean, Grenada is made up of three islands: Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique (also known as known as the Spice Isle — with more spices per square mile than anywhere else in the world).

Blessed with gentle trade winds and situated 12 degrees north of the equator, the average temperature is 27°C/80°F year round.

The capital of Grenada is St. George's, featuring a beautiful natural harbour. Grand Anse Beach, a 3.2 kilometre/2 mile long white sand beach — is one of the most popular swimming areas on the island. Other hot spots for sun bathing and swimming are Magazine Beach, Pandy Beach, Morne Rouge Beach, Pink Gin Beach, Bathway and La Sagesse Beach.

One sixth of Grenada is dedicated to parks and natural wildlife preserves. In the mountainous interior of the island, lush palm trees, a myriad of jungle plants, orchids, lilies and bougainvillea are commonplace. Grenada also has several different waterfall sites and national parks.
