Getting There

Most of the resorts and all of our villas are on the west coast of the island so the best airport to fly into is Kona (KOA) airport. Hilo (ITO) airport is on the east side of the island and for those who wish to do a tour of the volcanoes either by car or by helicopter will want to drive to or fly into the Hilo airport.

Getting Around

You will definitely want a rental car on the Big Island. Taxis are few and far between and outside of hiring a private car and driver, public transportation is pretty much non-existent. Especially when staying in a private home, a rental car is a must-have for excursions, grocery shopping, etc…
