Amanoka - a magnificent 7 bedroom villa is the largest and newest villa on beautiful Discovery Bay. From the spacious verandah and pool, a barefoot stroll leads down a soft lawn to the 70' white sand beach, clear turquoise water and waterfront gazebo with suspended canvas swings. The waterfront gazebo is a heavenly spot for late afternoon massages.

True to its name, Aman-oka is a "peaceful home" ... of exquisite design and restful ambiance. Quiet interiors are complementary textures of teak, bamboo and stone from Jamaica, China and Indonesia. Delicate orchids accessorize every room and bath. Meandering lily ponds, fountains and gardens grace the exterior.

Newly added this year is and enclosed garden are which houses two beautiful floating pavilions. One pavilion has a state of the are gym with a Precor elliptical machine, treadmill, exercise videos, balls, mats and a TV. Yoga, pilates classes or weight training can be arranged on request.

The other pavilion is devoted to the new "Tamansari" spa facilities. There is also an outdoor wet treatment area and rain shower. On call is a highly trained spa consultant from the U.K.The Amanoka compound consists of the Main Villa and The Annex ... linked by landscaped walkways through an interior courtyard.

Each day begins with fresh-squeezed orange juice and fresh-ground Blue Mountain coffee, fruit, bagels and muffins on the verandah buffet ... followed by full breakfast when all guests are ready. Extraordinary lunches and memorable candlelight dinners are served on the al fresco verandah. Cocktail hour canapes and hors d'oeuvres are offered each evening around the verandah bar. The chef will also plan a torchlight beach party with chicken, chops, steaks, fresh fish or lobster served sizzling from the outdoor coal grill.

The state-of-the-art kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, Jenn-Air double oven, microwave, dishwasher, bottled water server and gas grill. Cuisine at Amanoka is extraordinary.

Kayaks, sailfish and snorkel gear are complimentary. More water sports are available just a few minutes drive around the bay. In lively Ocho Rios 30 minutes from Amanoka are night life, restaurants, shops, open-air craft markets, more water sports, Prospect Plantation, Great House, rafting on the Martha Brae River, jitney tours of a working plantation, and dramatic Dunn's River Falls. Driving time from the Montego Bay airport to Amanoka is approximately 60 minutes ... well worth the driver through quaint old Jamaican villages and along a gorgeous seascape.

Master Bedroom: - (350 square feet) Kingsize bed; 27" DSS television; en-suite bathroom, Jacuzzi, stone shower area, bidet, his and hers vanities. French doors to outdoor pavilion and pool terrace, lovely view of bay.

Bamboo Room: -(300 square feet) Queensize bed; en-suite bathroom, linen-draped stone bathtub-shower combination, bidet; exotic garden view through louvred windows.

Mahogany Room - (300 square feet) Two queensize beds; en-suite bathroom, stone bathtub-shower combination, slate vanity, bidet, lovely garden view

Buffet-style kitchenette in Annex entrance hall for eye-opener coffee service. All bedrooms have telephones with intercoms to the Great Room, bar, kitchen, staff quarters and other guest rooms. Maximum 12 guests.
