Wailea Sunset Estate, one of our most popular vacation homes, was just lovingly refreshed with some upgraded amenities and decor. We installed brand new flat panel televisions in all rooms, including a 3D HDTV in the great room, and HD channel subscriptions throughout. Some televisions also have Netflix unlimited movie viewing.

The Wailea Sunset Estate is a legal hotel-zoned beach front vacation home which may be rented in combination with the adjoining Wailea Sunset Bungalow for a total of as many as 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths for up to 14 guests!

The Wailea Sunset Estate is a beautiful 4,000 square foot newer luxury estate four bedroom home with five and a half bathrooms. The Wailea Sunset Estate is situated near two sandy swimming beaches and the properties border Wailea Resort.

Unlike at many nearby hotels there are no extra "Resort Fees" charged!

Guests have exclusive use of their own hot tub and pool situated under the stars.

The Wailea Sunset Estate has a priceless and stunning panoramic ocean front setting. A sprawling manicured grass lawn slopes down to the water's edge where a pebbly cove invites you to snorkel, swim, boogie board, kayak, and scuba dive - right from your home! Waves lap gently along the shoreline and may be heard day and night. Kick back and view the crystal clear ocean and the glittering starry night skies from the dramatic elevated upstairs decks.

For guests who wish to stay connected during their holiday there is wireless high speed internet service at no extra charge. Several rooms have convenient hard-wired cable modem ethernet jacks. Since December 2011 there are all-new larger flat panel televisions with HD service throughout the property. The living room has a 3D television! There also is an iPod dock and two XBox game systems provided in the main living area and another in the twin bedroom. We never knew auto racing could be so fun - it's not just for youngsters!

Luxurious accents include a gated entry, hand etched frosted glass floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to welcome you, a covered hot tub spa and motorized retracting solar cover for the pool, motorized exotic bamboo sun shades throughout, a double set of privacy blinds in all bedrooms, central split zone air conditioning, security system, private en-suite bathrooms, a complete entertainment center in each bedroom and living room including two 65 inch high definition televisions, an iPod dock, and tropical theme interior decor.

The detailing of Wailea Sunset Estate is superlative. Our photos cannot adequately share the overall experience with you, but while viewing the slide show, make note of the delicate hand carved Balinese trims, down filled furniture, inlaid mosaic tile floors, warm polished dark mahogany and rosewood floors and cabinets, woven ceilings outlined with mahogany trim, bamboo hand railings, sea foam green marble counters, soothing natural color scheme with Hawaiian print wallpapers and bed covers, silky hand woven Tibetan area rugs, and charming tropical detailing such as turtle shape door knobs, and painted fish on ceramic tiles.

The upstairs ocean view patio is a lush lounging oasis with jumbo potted plants, teak furnishings including a rocking chair and game table, reading light sconces and spectacular ocean and sunset views.

To enjoy the delightful swimming pools and water slide at The Grand Wailea contact our Concierge for assistance with special overnight single room rates at the Grand Wailea. One room rented at the Grand Wailea Resort for one night will entitle as many as eight guests to enjoy the facilities at The Grand Wailea over the course of two days. Also, private tent cabanas are available to rent for $500 per day at the Grand Wailea Resort pool area. Rental of a cabana provides access to the Grand Wailea pools & water slides (height requirement applies) for up to four persons per day per cabana. Reservations are accepted only within 24 hours on a space available basis. You do not have to stay at the Grand Wailea to enjoy this amenity. You may also rent sports gear and beach chaise lounges/umbrellas in front of the Grand Wailea on Wailea Beach, although we also provide portable beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers in your villa or home. Housekeeping

A complimentary mid-week housekeeping service is included up to 8 hours if renting for 7 nights or longer, except for select off-season periods. Personal laundry is excluded. Fresh towels are provided, bed linens are changed, trash is removed, supplies are replenished, exterior areas are touched up, and there is a light dusting and vacuum. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 and on New Years Day January 1. Additional housekeeping service is available at $35 per person per hour plus 4.166% GE tax with a 3 hour minimum. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.
