The main villa has three beautiful bedrooms, each with private bath. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, 27" satellite cable TV, and ensuite bath with a Jacuzzi. French doors lead from the bedroom to the terrace, where guests can enjoy the magnificent view of Discovery Bay. The Bamboo bedroom features a king-size bed, ensuite bath with stone bathtub/shower combination, and a view of the exotic garden. The Mahogany room has two queen-size beds, an ensuite bath with stone bathtub and shower combination, and offers guests a spectacular view of the exquisite garden. Guests can gather in the great room where there is plenty to do. There's a 32" cable TV, sound system for listening to music, bumper pool--even a poker table. The great room opens onto the poolside terrace. Here guests can unwind in the 6-person Jacuzzi, swim in the infinity pool (or just enjoy its beauty), or relax with a book in the comfortably furnished bamboo pavilion. The verandah is a favorite gathering spot for al fresco meals or for cocktails and canapés each evening, served by the villa's staff. The villa is fully staffed with a butler, chef, maid, and gardener. The chef prepares gourmet meals in the villa's state-of-the-art kitchen. Meals can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room, which seats 8, or al fresco. The chef can also plan special events such as a torchlight beach party complete with grilled chicken, chops, steaks, fresh fish, or lobster. A landscaped walkway passes through the interior courtyard to link the main house with the annex villa. The two-level annex villa has three bedrooms: two master bedrooms are located on the upper level, and one on the lower level. Both master bedrooms feature king-size beds and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combination. French doors lead to the balcony where a hammock beckons visitors to relax and enjoy the fragrant island breezes. The bedroom on the lower level has two oversize twin-size beds and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The annex features a fully equipped fitness room with free weights and Precor elliptical exercise machines. There's also a library of exercise videos. Those wishing to practice yoga can arrange for sessions with a yoga instructor. Spa treatments are also available with a holistic health spa consultant. There's so much to do here many guests never leave the premises. Guests can stroll through Amanoka's lovely landscaped gardens and enjoy the exotic blooms, lilyponds, and fountains. They can play tennis on the lighted tennis court, relax in the magnificent infinity pool, or spend the day on the private white sand beach. There's even a waterfront gazebo furnished with suspended canvas swings for guest to relax and take in the beauty of Discovery Bay. Sea kayaks, sailfish, and snorkel gear offer guests the opportunity to play on and in the water. Amanoka is ideal for corporate events, weddings, or gatherings of friends and family. Restaurant of the Month: Almond Tree, Ochos Rios, JamaicaAlmond Tree is one of Ochos Rios's most popular restaurants. The restaurant commands a cliffside perch that offers diners a wonderful view of the water as they dine al fresco. The two-tier patio restaurant is famous for its decor--the centerpiece is a tree growing through the middle of the restaurant. Before dinner stop by the bar for a drink and try out its famous swinging rope chairs. Almond Tree's dinner menu features Jamaican and continental dishes. You'll find pumpkin soup, pepper pot soup, fresh fish, and roast suckling pig for a taste of Jamaica. Discovery Bay has been called Jamaica's Riviera, and with its natural beauty and 
With its beautiful turquoise blue waters and white sand beaches, Discovery Bay is considered one of Jamaica's most beautiful beaches. Located on Jamaica's North Coast, Discovery Bay is a 30-minute drive from Ochos Rios. The area was named Discovery Bay because Columbus was thought to have come ashore here--alas research has proven otherwise. Columbus Park, the public park, is named for him and features many Colombian and colonial artifacts in an open-air museum.
