Necker Island is located in the British Virgin Islands, a stunning and unspoilt area of the Caribbean. You can reach Necker via San Juan (Puerto Rico), St Thomas, Antigua or Barbados followed by a connecting flight to Beef Island, Tortola. From Beef Island there's a 30 minute transfer by our private launch. You can also reach Necker by helicopter.

Necker represents the ultimate in privacy and is available for the exclusive use of a single family or party at one time, for occasions such as milestone birthday or anniversary celebrations, family gatherings or executive retreats. Accommodations, in a stunning ten bedroom Main House and three separate Balinese houses, include sweeping ocean views. The Main House is the center of casual social activity and includes indoor and outdoor dining areas, handsome Balinese-style interiors for lounging and reading, and a games area with a full-size snooker table and the latest table games. A staff of 31 pampers guests.

The Main House, a majestic and airy villa with one-of-a-kind Balinese furnishings and art, is home to ten guest rooms, each with terrace views over neighboring islands and ocean. The spacious second-floor master suite has its own Jacuzzi and a large terrace with panoramic sea views. The living and dining areas are cavernous. Tropical sunlight streams through vast skylights in the vaulted ceiling. Wide louvered windows open to the exhilarating ocean breezes. A raised gallery overlooks an interior garden of lush palms and ferns.

Three additional Balinese houses, built in Bali, dismantled and then reassembled on Necker Island, provide three other guest accommodations. They are a short walk from the Main House. Native stone, huge hardwood beams and bamboo walls and ceilings augment the Balinese feel.

Chef Lee Cowie watches over Necker's highly experienced kitchen staff. Meals are a centerpiece of any group's Necker experience, served whenever the group chooses and virtually wherever, including a formal evening buffet by the sea or a champagne brunch on the terrace. A couple of Necker's specialties are Coconut Tempura Shrimp on Banana Caper Relish, and Sambuca Souffle with White Chocolate Ice Cream. Outside, the villa is encircled by broad, galleried terraces of York stone. A patio is set for dining al fresco. All about, comfortable lounge furniture invites languid relaxation or quiet reading. From this upper terrace, fresh water cascades into a whirlpool on the terrace below and flows into the enormous swimming pool, its water as clear as Baccarat crystal.

A short stroll from the villa, on a dazzling cape of silver sand, sits a Balinese gazebo and beside it a flood lit tennis court. The three traditional Balinese guest houses, one with its own swimming pool, sit nestled in exquisite surroundings with romantic views. Recreational facilities abound; sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing. The new beach pavilion offers a dining area as well as a Beach pool with a waterfall and swim up bar. And on the villa's main level, there is even a full-sized English snooker table.

Necker Island has the best of both worlds: an exciting choice of recreational pursuits for the athletically inclined, or the privacy and privilege to do nothing but bask in the glow of this perfect tropical idyll.
