Festivals & Other Events

Harbor Night Celebrations

St. Croix has instituted "Harbor Night" celebrations to welcome cruise ship passengers to the island. The festivities are held in Frederiksted and include music, dancing and mocko jumbies.

St. Croix International Triathlon

Triathlon fans will want to check out the St. Croix International Triathlon in early May. This event is one of the top events on the Triathlon Pro Tour drawing more than 500 athletes and thousands of spectators.

Crucian Christmas Festival

The Crucian Christmas Festival runs from Christmas Eve through Three King's Day (January 6). Island-wide celebrations include costumes, music, dancing and parades.

The St. Croix Golden Hook Challenge

The $100,000 St. Croix Golden Hook Challenge is held in late September. This tournament is linked with five other regional bill fish events in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. If catching a 700 pound blue marlin is your dream, then this is your event.
