Snorkeling & Scuba

As testimony to the quality of the underwater adventures here in St. Croix, there are a number of dive operators on the island:

Anchor Dive Center, Blue Dolphin Divers, Cane Bay Dive Shop, Cutlass Cove Watersports, Dive Experience, Cruzan Divers, Sundance, and V.I. Divers, Ltd. Top diving stops include the Davis Bay Drop-off, the Pillar Coral, Buck Island and the North Cut. For snorkeling trips led by marine biologists, contact the St. Croix Aquarium Marine Education Center at (809) 772-1345.

Tennis

Many resorts offer their guests tennis facilities including the Buccaneer Hotel and Chenay Bay Beach Resort. There are lighted public courts at Canegata Ball Park. The courts at St. Croix by the Sea Hotel are open to public with four lights courts. Reservations are required.

Sky Watch

Because the Virgin Islands are 18 degrees north of the equator, you can see some stars that you would not be able to see from most of the northern hemisphere, unless you live in the northern tropics. Note: the groups that you might recognize may be in a different area of the sky.
