About Date House, St. Lucia
Date House is a well appointed, comfortable villa situated in the residential area of Marisule about a ten minute drive south to the capital of St. Lucia, Castries and a ten minute drive north to Rodney Bay with its shopping mall, restaurants and bars and a few minutes further onto Cap Estate with its 18 hole championship golf course.
The villa can sleep 7 persons comfortably in four air-conditioned bedrooms.
The villa enjoys a spacious sitting room with a TV connected to cablevision and a DVD player and a music center. The sitting room adjoins an open plan dining area and large well equipped kitchen and laundry room. This entire area is cooled with ceiling fans.
There is a covered and uncovered front patio area for relaxing and al fresco dining, where guests can enjoy wonderful sea views.
The landscaped garden is fully fenced and gated and there is a large swimming pool situated in a pool terrace with pool loungers.
The house enjoys the additional security of a monitored burglar alarm.
Bedrooms
- Bedroom 1: is situated upstairs and is accessed through a small sitting room with a library of paperbacks. This bedroom enjoys spectacular views of the beach at Windjammer Hotel and of the sea from the private patio. It is air-conditioned with a ceiling fan and has a queen size bed, a spacious walk in closet and an ensuite shower room.Bedrooms 2 and 3: are situated on the main level. Each bedroom has a small private patio and is air- conditioned with a ceiling fan and a queen size bed. These two bedrooms share a shower room.
- Bedroom 4: is also situated on the ground floor and it has a single bed. This bedroom is also air-conditioned with a ceiling fan and an ensuite shower room.

Staff
Housekeeper: Monday to Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Please note that he housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.

St. Lucia Villas
All St. Lucia villa bookings for travel January 1, 2013 and beyond will be subject to a Value Added Tax. Unfortunately, this tax amount is yet to be determined. All bookings confirmed for travel beyond January 1, 2013 will be subject to this tax once the amount is determined by the government.

“We booked Date house after looking through what seemed like a life time of villas on the net. There is lots to choose from in st lucia but a lot of the places are either a bit remote down incredibly bad roads or missing something like a pool or a barbecue area. On finding Date villa I called the owner Robert in the Uk, he couldn't have been more helpful emailing information about the island where to eat and shop etc. Robert quoted us a price which was very reasonable compared to other similar villas and then put us in contact with the letting agent which looks after the property for him. The letting agent was great and easy to deal with sending on information on the villa, directions etc. On arriving in st lucia we picked up our hire car at the airport in the south of the island and drove to the villa which was easy enough to find. We were very pleasantly surprised with the villa on our arrival as I mentioned it seemed great value but was if anything better than most of the other properties we had looked at. It is central enough to everything but far enough away to be very private. I could go on and on about the villa, the amazing views, the great staff Annemarie and Thomas, the pool, the well equipped kitchen etc but to be blunt if your looking for somewhere amazing to stay this is it. Just call Robert and book it and relax in the knowledge you've got a great holiday ahead of you. We had a great two weeks, my wife and I are very well travelled and at this point have been to most places on offer but Date house and st lucia will hold a very special place in our hearts for years to come and I'd be more than surprised if we are not back there soon.” Everett Johnston
