Old Stone Farmhouse

This wonderful restaurant overlooking the Mahogany Run Golf Course has earned numerous awards-including Best of the Caribbean from Caribbean Travel and Life readers, Best Gourmet Restaurant on St. Thomas, Best Chef on St. Thomas, and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The restaurant is located in a restored c. 1750 stone farm building that once served as the stable for the Lovendahl plantation, a former Danish sugar plantation. The building has stone arches, two-foot thick stone walls, a courtyard with fountain, and an ambiance that can't be beat. The Old Stone Farmhouse is open for dinner only and is closed on Sundays. Reservations are recommended at this popular restaurant.
Havana Blue

(340) 715-BLUE (2583)
Enjoy a posh night out dining delectably and sipping on magical fruit flavored mojitos at Havana Blue. Oceanfront dining with Latin fusion cuisine. Try anything! Especially the tacos de filet, miso sea bass, and Caribbean lobster.
Havana Blue is one of St. Thomas's most happening spots. Part of the Marriott Frenchman's Reef and Morningstar Beach Resort, Havana Blue dazzles guests with its cool, sophisticated decor and fantastic food--a fusion of authentic Cuban dishes with the flavors of the Pacific Rim. And the setting couldn't be more romantic. The restaurant sits right on Morningstar Beach, where diners can savor the sunsets and water views.
The elegant decor features large picture windows swathed in floor-to-ceiling white fabric, a wall of shimmering blue water, and the dining room's centerpiece--the massive, round bar with hand-stained deep blue marble. Candles illuminate the space: There are pillar candles scattered throughout the room and table candles sit on a bed of black beans inside hurricane shades. The overall effect is sophisticated, yet intimate. Celebrate a special occasion by dining on the beach below the restaurant, where your own private waiter will serve you a seven-course tasting menu as you dine by candlelight under the stars.
Start your meal with the fresh coconut chipolte ceviche, peanut soba bowls, or Caesar de Vieras with crispy garlic wontons. Main courses include mango-glazed salmon with grilled asparagus, Polynesian duck with braised baby bok choy, ancho chile and espresso rub filet of beef, mojito glazed skirt steak, coconut rum tempura prawns, and Havana Blue's signature dish, the miso-marinated sea bass. Caribbean lobster and fresh fish are served daily. For dessert, try the blueberry and white chocolate cake, molten chocolate fondant, or coconut flan.
The wine list features selections from Spain, California, and Latin America. Cocktails are innovative. Guests can choose from eight specialty mojitos including the popular mango mojito (mango, mint leaves, and lime) and the Asian spice mojito (fresh ginger and cardamom) as well as house blends such as the Aphrodite (vanilla vodka, peach, and passionfruit), sipping rums, and infused vodkas with tropical flavors like pineapple, papaya, and jalapeno. The Blue Bar offers exclusive hand-rolled cigars as well.
The restaurant serves dinner only, and reservations are a must. One of our very favorites!
The Cellar

(340) 715-1442
If you're looking to be wined and dined (and wined again), The Cellar is the place to go. A delicious and enticing menu of what they consider to be "progressive American," includes everything from fresh fish appetizers and entrees to fois gras to refreshing salads to wild boar. Try the truffled macaroni and cheese, beef wellington and tuna sliders. Located in Red Hook Plaza.
Mahogany Run Grillroom
Enjoy a casual but tasty lunch or dinner at this restaurant located on the grounds of the Mohagany Run Golf Course. During the day you might opt for the burger or the club, but come dinner time, we recommend the fresh fish entree or the Argentinean Churrasco. The restaurant features a full-service bar and flat screen TVs. Open for lunch and dinner.
Romano's Restaurant
(340) 775-0045
Located inside a huge old stucco house in Smith Bay, this Northern-Italian hideaway is owned by New Jersey chef Tony Romano. The restaurant has been popular with both locals and visitors ever since it opened more than a 15 years ago. Tony specializes in flavor-filled and herb-laden cuisine that some diners yearn for after too much Caribbean cooking. House favorites include Linguine Con Pesto, Four-Cheese Lasagna, a tender and well flavored Osso Buco, Scaloppini Marsala, and Broiled Salmon. All of the desserts are authentic Italian gems and are made on the premises. The restaurant, characterized by exposed brick and well-stocked wine racks, always seems full of happy, lively diners! Located in Smith Bay (on the road to Coral World).
