    “Within the past 12 months, I have vacationed in the Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Paradise Island, Bahamas and now St. Thomas. We had an excellent vacation in USVI; one of, if not the best vacation ever!! After visiting St. Thomas on a Royal Caribbean cruise last summer, I knew St. Thomas was a place that I wanted to return to for an extended stay. I had no idea how much I would love it. Prior to this trip, Kauai, Hawaii was by far my favorite vacation destination but I would now have to say that the Virgin Islands seriously rival a Hawaiian vacation and are a step ahead given the travel time. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations. While it is not the 5-star hotel with the updated decor (such as cabinets and kitchen and bath fixtures) that we are used to, everything else about Carefree enhanced our vacation: the view was absolutely breathtaking; the private sun deck and pool allowed me to relax and sunbathe in the mornings without having to feel rushed to get to the beach; the kitchen was equipped with every imaginable accoutrement making meals easy and we truly enjoyed the use of the outdoor grill. Needless to say, we made ourselves right at home and it was very hard to leave. One of the drawbacks of the mountainside location are the steep and winding roads. ” Jenise H.
