Please consider the following when planning your vacation.
THE KEY to a wonderful vacation is prior proper planning.
PLAN EARLY - If it is possible, plan ahead. The more popular homes rent further in advance than others. As a rule of thumb, you should reserve your vacation home 6-8 months in advance for travel in the winter season. This should ensure an adequate number of homes to select from.
Although it is sometimes possible to rent lovely homes with short notice, planning well in advance will ensure you a choice of quality villas within your budget range. Christmas reservations usually have 10-14 day minimum stays required and are generally booked 11-12 months ahead of time.
To get the most from your villa vacation, follow these basic steps, then please contact our villa consultants:
1) SET YOUR DATES - Plan your vacation early. Many properties book months in advance. Special events and holidays may be extra popular.
2) DECIDE ON THE SIZE - and make-up of your group. Consider any special requirements. Some homes that are wonderful for families are not as accommodating for groups of friends (adult couples). Some homes are great for larger groups and others are perfect for honeymooners and romantic getaways for just the two of you. Don't automatically exclude larger homes since some rent at reduced rates for fewer people.
3) SET YOUR PRIORITIES - Would you prefer a hillside or beachfront location? Would you like a villa that is fully staffed including cook service, or will maid service alone suffice? Would you like to be near activities or well removed from everything?
4) SELECT THE ISLAND that's right for you. All the different islands have their own individual character that makes each in their own way unique and special. Choose the island that appeals to you. If you are not familiar with the islands we can help you select one that's most appropriate for your holiday.
