Summer Heights' hillside location affords long-distance ocean panoramas dotted with green islands in the distance and constant, cooling trade winds. A broad staircase of Mexican coral tile leads you to the enclosed sunny courtyard accented with river stones. Here the sunny blue-tiled pool overlooks sweeping sea vistas.

A poolside roofed dining loggia provides a beautiful setting for casual dining and sunsets; just adjacent and looking out to the pool is Summer Heights' gourmet kitchen and bar complete with a cookbook collection, an ice cream maker, an espresso coffee machine, a bread maker, a food processor, a dishwasher, and a blender. Enjoy the starter bar that provides light snacks as you toast the breathtaking views of Sir Francis Drake Channel! A stylish curved glass brick wall separates the kitchen from the very spacious Great Room which offers ever-changing views of passing yachts.See something interesting out on the high seas? Use the house binoculars to get a closer look at the ocean's marvelous sights.

The four equal-sized king bedroom/bath suites, decorated in ocean pastels or shell pinks, are situated along the deck from the Great Room on two levels. The upper two bedrooms have private balconies, and the other two open onto a semi-shaded deck with a double hammock. Each suite features its own telephone, TV , VCR, radio, coffeemaker, and all have ocean views.

Summer Heights is a relaxed and restful haven with many enhanced amenities like the gourmet kitchen, an inter-villa intercom, welcome bar, a high-speed DSL line for your laptop, a television with a VCR/DVD player in the living room, a 100-CD changer with a radio, wonderful movie and music collections, books, games, an answering maching for use with the telephone, and a full diesel standby generator. In addition, your personal laundry is done by the housekeeper. For families with small children there are two cribs and a highchair available for use. Families and couples alike can enjoy the double hammock, gas grill, and beach coolers provided to suit those wishing to make day-trips and those who want to stay near the house, relaxing in the soft Caribbean sun.

A very friendly, light and breezy vacation home for couples or families, this villa is very conveniently located close to town, shops, restaurants, and West End beaches. Island perfection for couples or families!

Originally from England, the owners of Summer Heights personally built and now maintain Summer Heights in immaculate condition. Their own accomdations are tucked away on the lower eastern side of the property, completely separate from the villa's amentities. For more than 20 years, they have hosted guests on their beautiful 72-foot sailing yacht in the Caribbean. Use them as information resources, have them professionally cater your dinner party, or help arrange your day activities...or simply indicate your preferences for total privacy.

"We spent a wonderful week at Summer Heights. We were a relatively large group and the house fit us very comfortably. Barry and Roz made us feel completely welcome and went out of their way to help us out during our stay. We spent many fun hours by the pool, in the large family room and even in the spacious kitchen! My favorite part of the house was the outdoor dining table, where we could all eat together with the beautiful views of the water and islands as a backdrop. Though there were days that we were quite happy to spend the entire day enjoying the house, the location was such that we were still able to travel quite a bit around the island and to neighboring islands. I recommend Summer Heights to anyone looking to vacation in the area. "
