MañanaLeverick Bay, North Sound, Virgin GordaMañana is a three bedroom, two bathroom villa with pool overlooking Leverick Bay in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.The Caribbean is all about the “outside”: the panoramic views and cool trade wind breezes twelve months of the year. Mañana is inside out living!
Many people passing by have stopped to take a picture of Mañana because she portrays one’s vision of a Caribbean paradise.
As you walk through the gate you are in the land of enchantment. First, the sound of the waterfall into the pool – inspired by D.H. Lawrence: "… but the icy little spring softly pressed upwards from its tiny well-bed of pure, reddish-white pebbles. How icy and clear it was! Brilliant! The new keeper had no doubt put in fresh pebbles. She heard the faint tinkle of water, as the tiny overflow trickled over and downhill. … she heard the tinkle as of tiny water bells."
And then, the fragrance of jasmine and frangipani. The poolside patio is surrounded by flora and overlooks the sea. Chaise lounges and pool floats complement the Spanish tile patio for basking in the sun. The sun is strong in the Caribbean and the shaded lean-to with it's hammock is often a welcome respite.
Mañana’s covered deck provides a beautiful wake up call for breakfast and a wonderful sunset and starlit evening for dinner, cooking on the barbeque. Truly, it is where you will find yourself spending most of your time! The scenes on the waterfront are forever changing and provide wonderful entertainment.
The pallet for Mañana was inspired by Antoine Chapon, a French artist living on St. Martin – the sand of the beach, the turquoise of the water and the blue of the sky.
If you were to take the roof off Mañana, she would resemble a peace sign … how fitting, because it is so peaceful! The three sections include the Great Room, Master Suite and Guest Suite.
Mañana's Great Room is for general living, cooking, and dining. In the living area you will find all the amenities of home including a library, Cable TV, DVD and CD with surround sound.
Mañana's galley kitchen has most modern conveniences including microwave, coffeemaker and blender – for those frozen margaritas! Notice the mirrors behind the counter … a view of the Caribbean no matter where you turn!
Mañana's dining area overlooks the pool and the sea from an expandable table for four to eight — when you're not eating out on the deck under the stars! The furnishings are simple, but of high-quality … which pretty much defines Mañana.
Mañana's master suite is so named because of its view to the Caribbean and direct access to its own private deck. Both bedrooms are the same size including bathroom en-suite and both have a king size bed, quality furniture, linens and décor.
