Saline Reef

East End, North Shore, Cap Estate, St. Lucia

Saline Reef is the villa with the views. High above the Caribbean, you can see down the island to Pigeon Island and across the straits to Martinique. Each evening you have uninterrupted views of the beautiful Caribbean sunsets. Throughout the day, the yachts sail across the bay below.

Saline Reef provides comfort, rest, and relaxation for up to six visitors. The villa has three fully air conditioned double bedrooms (two single beds in each room) with en suite shower rooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own balcony area.

There is an attractive, airy sitting room with cable TV, a dining room with an open plan kitchen, and a marble patio with an extensive pergola, which leads to the two-level swimming pool linked by a waterfall. The larger level is for swimming and the smaller is a shallow pool for relaxing. The house and pool area offer a lot of shade and open space for relaxing poolside. The garden is professionally landscaped and maintained to a very high standard. This is a non-smoking villa.

You are looked after by two daytime housekeepers, Jane and her daughter, Angel. Oliver, the gardener, tends the lawn and flower beds and cuts down ripe coconuts from the two trees in the garden.

Saline Reef is at the northernmost tip of St. Lucia at Saline Point. If you want to swim in the sea, it is a short trip to the beach. To keep fit, you can join the local Racket Club. Visit the sights of St. Lucia - from hikes through the rainforest, to boat trips to the famous Pitons, the sulphur springs and the beautiful, cultivated gardens. It is four miles from Rodney Bay where there are shops, supermarkets, numerous restaurants, and sailing facilities. Castries, the capital, is 25 minutes away by car. There you can buy fresh vegetables and locally caught fish from the markets. St. Lucia is special. It is an unspoiled Caribbean island with character and magnificent people. Being there is believing.

"We just returned from a 7 day stay at the Saline Reef Villa. It was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. The views were even more beautiful than the pictures on the web and the staff was amazing. Angel was there to cook or shop for meals and is awesome. Location is the best on the island as far as I am concerned. You can find nightlife close by or you can stay on the property if you want privacy and relaxation. I would love to go back and bring family and friends to share this spectacular place with. "
